Demand 100% accuracy in the next election.

Do you value the democratic concept of one person, one vote?

Democracy only works if every vote is cast fairly and counted fairly. VolunteerToCount.org is dedicated to solving the problem of innacurate results in American elections.

The Problem

The voting machines currently in use do not provide voter verifiable paper trails. And even if they did, the current practice of not manually counting each vote unless something seems really wrong, is well, wrong. If votes are tallied incorrectly for any canidate, democracy is not happening.

Our Solution

Our solution is simple, cheap, effective, and 100% accurate: hand-count every paper ballot cast using volunteers to supply the labor.

I personally volunteer to help count every paper ballot cast in my precint in the next election. Regardless of whether or not a Democrat or Republican or third party canidate receives the most votes, the most important thing is that each vote is counted and the total results are accurate.

Do you volunteer to count too?

It is not too late. We can, and have to, and will, change the system. We are fighting for our voice to be heard, for every one. Americans. Proud. Patriotic. Let's vote. What possible reason could we have to justify NOT counting each ballot by hand? Do we have to be corrupt? I say no.

Our Platform:

  1. Every ballot must be paper
  2. Every ballot must be counted on election night, observed by as many people can fit into the polling place.
  3. Ballots must be designed to be easily read, with clear and definite boxes to be marked with an X
  4. All State and Federal level elected officials must be elected directly on paper.
  5. Use the money saved by not buying more electronic voting machines to buy donuts and coffee for the volunteers.
  6. Implement this system immediately. Do not use an electronic voting machine again.

Spread the word. Volunteer to count. If enough of us do, then we can say, guess what guys, this is how it's going to be. Every one gets the opportunity to vote. We are going to count the ballots, by hand, that you cast with your pencil on paper. Every vote must be counted.

What's next? You tell me.
